The terms of use.

This site is not an offer

Nothing on this website is an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any security or interest in any fund or investment. Nothing here is investment, legal, tax or accounting advice, and nothing here takes account of your circumstances, because we do not know them.

Any offering by ADJL is made privately, only through documents delivered directly to the person concerned, and never through this website. Where this site and those documents differ, those documents govern.

Who may use it

You may read the public pages if you are at least 18 and legally able to enter into a contract.

Everything else on this site, including the investor portal, is available only to people ADJL has invited. Access is granted by us, individually, and can be withdrawn. Attempting to reach it without an invitation, or using somebody else's credentials, is not permitted.

Members’ tools

People ADJL has given an account may use software tools in the investor portal. Whatever those tools show:

• is an estimate, not a fact, and is not advice or a recommendation of any kind;
• may include commentary written by a language model, which can be wrong;
• should be checked independently before you rely on it for anything.

The detailed terms for each tool are set out in the members' disclosures, which signed-in investors can read, and form part of these terms for anybody who uses them.

What you may not do

You may not:

• use the site or the platform to break the law, or to help anybody else do so;
• attempt to reach data, accounts or systems you have not been given access to;
• probe, scan or test the security of the site, except as invited by our published security contact;
• scrape, harvest or bulk-download the site or the platform, or use automated means to submit forms;
• resell, sublicense or offer the platform's output as a service to anybody else;
• copy the platform, or attempt to derive its models, for a competing product;
• upload anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the right to upload.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself and tell us promptly if you think somebody else has it. You are responsible for what is done through your account. We may suspend or close an account that is being misused, and we may close one at our discretion — if we do that for any reason other than misuse, we will tell you why.

What belongs to whom

The site, the platform and its models, the written material, the design and the film all belong to ADJL or to the people we licensed them from. Using the site does not transfer any of it to you.

What you put in — work you save, a note you write — remains yours. You grant us only the permission we need to store it, show it back to you, and operate the service.

Data from other people

The portal's tools use data from third parties, and the portal shows headlines from public news feeds. We select those sources carefully and we do not control them. We do not warrant that anything they supply is accurate, current or complete, and headlines are shown as links to their publishers, who own them.

Availability

We do not promise the site or the platform will be available, uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it. We will try not to do so without warning to people relying on it.

Limits on our liability

The site and the platform are provided as they are. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude all warranties that are not written down here.

We are not liable for investment losses, lost profits, lost opportunity, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or the platform. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the extent the law allows.

Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Indemnity

If your use of the site or the platform in breach of these terms causes a claim against us, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it.

Governing law

The law that governs these terms, and the courts that will deal with any dispute, will be stated here once confirmed by ADJL's counsel.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The date at the top will change with them, and continuing to use the site after that is acceptance. If a change materially affects investors using the portal, we will email them.
